Please join us as we welcome back Marian J. Krzyzowski, Director of the Institute for Research on Labor, Employment, and the Economy at U-M. In 2002 Krzyzowski launched the Chene Street History Project to develop a history of the Detroit neighborhood, which cuts through the city's east side from the Detroit River to GM's Hamtramck Plant. It was once one of Detroit's most vibrant commercial corridors. "The Jewish Presence on Chene Street, Revisited" is a follow-up to Krzyzowski's much-loved 2013 presentation. Join us for an interesting update!
