David A. Tenenbaum Book Talk

Join us for a riveting conversation with Dr. David A. Tenenbaum, author of Accused of Treason: The US Army's Witch Hunt for a Jewish Spy (2020). One lucky participant will win a free copy of the book!

Tenenbaum is a civilian mechanical engineer who works for the Army at the TACOM base in Warren. In 1997 he was falsely accused of being an Israeli spy by a known anti-Semite. The FBI conducted a full-scale criminal investigation of Tenenbaum and his family, ultimately concluding there was no evidence against him. His federal lawsuit for religious discrimination was dismissed after the Army falsely claimed that it “would not be able to disclose the actual reasons or motivations for [its] actions without revealing state secrets.” Senator Carl Levin ordered an investigation of the Tenenbaum case which confirmed that the US Army was guilty of anti-Semitism. To this day, the Army refuses to compensate Tenenbaum for the false accusations against him. He continues his fight to clear his name.
