Join Detroit Jewish News editor Andrew Lapin as he discusses Royal Oak's "radio priest" Charles E. Coughlin and his powerful brand of anti-Semitism.  Coughlin broadcasted his anti-Semitic radio show to a weekly audience of millions during the Great Depression. He was America’s first true mass-media demagogue, using populist messaging techniques to spread hateful conspiracy theories and spur  the rise of violent, right-wing militias.
