The Jewish Historical Society of Michigan maintains the Jewish Yearbook Collection, a treasure trove of more than 1,000 yearbooks from throughout the state of Michigan. Dating back to the early 20th century, the collection contains rare books from schools long gone and recent books from last year's graduating class. This community resource is an on-going project. We will continue to expand the database and grow collection thanks to the efforts of volunteers and donors.
We encourage you to save your yearbooks, take care of them and treasure them. However, if you would like them preserved, consider making a donation of these books to the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan. Books that are donated are carefully documented and preserved and a bookplate with the donor's name is placed upon its binding.
